After finishing the enology program at Washington State University, she began work at as harvest intern at a local winery. She then moved on to a position as an assistant winemaker at a small boutique winery. This was where her passion came into full swing. The art, science, and hard work was really something of which she couldn't get enough.
After making wine at home for several years, Lisa outgrew the laundry room and her garage. Then, with the full support of her family, Callan Cellars was born.
